Student Accommodation myPRO XL Installation
Two myPRO XL washers and two matching dryers supplied and installed in a compact student accommodation laundry, each fitted with a card reader for simple card payment.
Customer challenge
The laundry room was small, and four machines had to fit into it without crowding the space or making it awkward for students to use. The equipment also needed a straightforward payment method that students could use without cash or tokens.
Laundry Innovations solution
Laundry Innovations measured the room and planned a layout that made the best possible use of the available footprint. A suitable stacking kit was used to safely mount a dryer above a washer, freeing floor space while keeping both machines at a comfortable working height. Card readers were fitted to each machine, and the full set was connected, commissioned and function tested before handover.
Project outcome
All four machines fit neatly into the room and operate perfectly. Students can pay by card in seconds, and accommodation staff have a tidy, low-maintenance laundry that copes easily with daily demand. Both students and staff love the finished setup.
