PW9C washer extractors supplied, installed and commissioned in an aged care laundry with restricted access.
Customer challenge
Getting the machines into the laundry meant navigating tight doorways with very little clearance. The equipment had to be moved without damage to the machines or the building, and without disrupting the facility around it.
Laundry Innovations solution
Laundry Innovations planned the access route in advance and used safe handling techniques and the right equipment to bring each machine through the doorways and into position. The washers were levelled, connected, commissioned and function tested, and staff were shown the controls and daily routines.
Project outcome
The installation was completed successfully and the machines operate reliably in the finished laundry. A visiting representative from Electrolux head office made a special trip to see the work and was extremely pleased with how the installation looked and performed, and the laundry staff were delighted with their new equipment.

Facility staff were accommodating with access and timing throughout, which made a difficult delivery run smoothly.
